The Cardiac nurse should work with the patients who suffering from the various conditions of the cardiovascular system. These nurses helps to treat the conditions like the unstable angina, coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy, congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction and the cardiac dysrhythmia under direction of the cardiologist.
Most of the cardiovascular clinical nurse specialists work in the hospitals. They care for the critically ill patients, and those who are recovering from the cardiac procedures such as bypass, angioplasty/pacemaker surgery. The Cardiovascular nurses may also helps the patients recover at home.
