The patient safety is a prevention of errors and adverse effects to patients associated with the health care, and it is an essential part of nursing care that main theme is to prevent avoidable errors and patient harm. Patient safety is the feature of healthcare system and a set of tested ways for improving care. Therefore, the nurse plays a major role in the ensuring patient safety by monitoring the patients for clinical deterioration, detecting errors and near misses, understanding care processes and weaknesses inherent in some systems.
