The term oncology is a branch of medicine which deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. Oncology nurse is a nurse who takes care for cancer patients. And these nurses require clinical experiences in oncology. The oncology nurses various types they are acute care hospitals, care clinics, private oncologists, radiation therapists, home healthcare oncology nurses, and the community nurses. Their practice in the association will a number of oncologic disciplines, consisting of the surgical oncology, radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology and the medical oncology.
